Bakersfield Paving is seeking a seasoned Asphalt Estimator with a strong background in commercial and industrial paving. This role demands precision, strategic insight, and a commitment to delivering accurate estimates that align with real-world execution.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

· Conduct site reviews to assess quantities, access logistics, and timeline feasibility

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for all scopes of paving, parking, and highway improvements

· Interpret civil plans and project specifications with accuracy

· Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to align bid strategy with capacity

· Leverage software tools for digital takeoffs, cost tracking, and proposal development

· Monitor supplier pricing and market trends to maintain competitiveness

· Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards

· Foster client relationships

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in asphalt or heavy civil project estimation

· Advanced understanding of asphalt materials, specifications, and application methods

· Proficiency in digital takeoffs, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating platforms

· Strong field presence and ability to communicate technical details effectively

· Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

· Organized, accountable, and results-driven
